Description
Vin de Champagne imagined in 1986 for the bicentenary of the house, celebrated five years later, with the desire to resurrect the style of Champagne wines of the 18th century. The wine is a silvery, gray color from maceration at pressing and is lightly sparkling (sablé) with lower atmospheres of pressure. There is no dosage added. The assemblage of still red wine and still white wine changes from year to year, depending on the quality of the vintage.
Tasting notes: A nose dominated by citrus peel, mandarin, with slightly smoky notes and exotic scents. On the palate, the wine is firm, with a very nice liveliness and an almost tannic touch. Multiple possibilities at the table.
